• Booking & communications (appointments, emails, call notes).

• Payment information where applicable (processed by a payment provider; I don’t store full card details).

• To respond to inquiries, perform conflict checks, and deliver paralegal/notary services.

I do not sell personal information. I may disclose information to trusted service providers who support my practice (website hosting, email/IT, calendar/booking, payments, analytics) under confidentiality obligations, and as required by law or to protect my legal rights.

I keep inquiry records for up to 12 months and client/matter records for at least 7 years unless a different period is required by law. I use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (HTTPS, access controls). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Subject to law, you may request access to or correction of your personal information, or withdraw consent for non-essential processing. To make a request, use the contact details below. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada to file a complaint.

8. Cross-Border Processing

Some service providers may process data outside Ontario or Canada. These regions may have different privacy laws, but I require appropriate safeguards from my providers.

9. Children

This website is not directed to minors. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

I may update this Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent version.
